The head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council heads to France to participate in the Paris conference

Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, head of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council, headed to the French capital, Paris, for a three-day visit, during which he will participate in the Paris Conference to support the democratic transition in Sudan.

The Sudanese News Agency (SUNA) stated that Al-Burhan will address the conference, which will be attended by French President Emmanuel Macron and a number of heads of state and government and regional and international organizations. He will also hold many bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the conference.

The Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, the Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, as well as a number of Sudanese officials are scheduled to participate in the Paris conference, alongside the President of the Sovereignty Council.
