Ismaili responds to Zamalek's request regarding transferring the cup signed from Suez to Alexandria

Alaa Waheed, the media spokesman for the Ismaili club, revealed that his club has not yet received any official communications from Zamalek to transfer the two teams' match to Alexandria instead of Suez.

Alaa Waheed said in exclusive statements to "The Seventh Day": "Zamalek did not officially speak to us to transfer the match, and the Football Association is responsible for organizing this match, and we are following the methods used to reserve the hotel in Suez for the match as long as we do not receive anything indicating its transfer." And if any decision is issued, we will study it and officially announce our position. "

The French coach, Patrice Carteron, Zamalek, confirmed that he would ask club officials to address the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) in order to transfer the team's match against Ismaily in the round of sixteen of the Egyptian Cup to Alexandria instead of playing it in Suez due to pressure from the Premier League matches.

The technical director of the white team said in statements to the official website that the team will face Al-Masry in Alexandria on May 24 in the league, and after that the team will be required to face Al-Ismaili in the cup on May 27 in Suez before traveling to El Gouna to face El-Gouna on May 30th.

Carteron added that he hopes to transfer the Ismaili match to Alexandria as a solution to reduce pressure on Zamalek in the coming period, provided that the team will continue in Alexandria after the Al-Masry match, if the match is agreed to transfer the cup from Suez to Alexandria.
