Jordan announces the return of travel traffic through the "Aqaba" crossing, after a general suspension due to Corona

Today, Sunday, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Transport, Wissam Al-Tahtamouni, confirmed the return of travel through the Aqaba Nuweiba crossing to normal before the emergence of the Corona virus.


The Jordanian News Agency quoted Al-Attamouni as saying that the movement of passengers in both directions has returned to normal after more than a year on the restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, indicating that the movement of freight and the flow of goods has been available for months in both directions, explaining that the movement of travel and freight has returned to normal with the application The health protocol followed at the border crossings for travelers, such as BCR checks and others.

She pointed out that the crossing was, during the last period, limited to the movement of travelers departing from the Kingdom.
