The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo signed a general agreement for cooperation between the two countries. Based on Saudi Arabia’s keenness to develop foreign relations with the governments of countries and peoples of the world, and its desire to strengthen the bonds of friendship and consolidate historical ties and common interests.
The Saudi Press Agency stated that the agreement includes encouraging cooperation between the two countries in the economic, trade, investment, educational, artistic, cultural, media, tourism, youth and sports fields ... It also opens the horizons for concluding specialized bilateral agreements in areas of interest to the two countries.
The agreement was signed by Minister of State for African Countries Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Kattan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Marie Tumba, as Minister.
