Yemeni local sources reported today, Saturday, that the Houthi militia forcibly displaced thousands of Yemeni citizens from the capital (Sana'a), and practiced widespread violations against them.
Al-Arabiya TV quoted the unnamed sources as saying: “The Houthi militia imposed royalties on major merchants, financial men, owners of private companies and institutions, importers, people of various professions, and other different groups and segments of society in the capital and other areas under their control.
The sources revealed that the militias were able to reap nearly three "trillion" riyals from the taxes it imposes on the Yemenis in Sanaa and the rest of its control areas.
