The authorities of the Colombian capital, Logota, announced, on Tuesday, their decision to impose a ban on alcohol in the city during the New Year holidays, as part of measures to prevent the outbreak of the Corona virus.
According to Russia Today, Bogotá Mayor Claudia Lopez confirmed that the measure will be in effect during December 31 and January 1, explaining that the ban includes selling and consuming alcohol in public places, as well as a request to deliver it to homes.
The mayor explained that the authorities are not planning to impose a curfew in the city during the New Year holidays.
