Turkey sells 10% of the Istanbul Stock Exchange to Qatar for $ 200 million



Turkey's sovereign wealth fund said on Monday that it had sold 10 percent of the Istanbul Stock Exchange to the Qatar Investment Authority for $ 200 million under an agreement signed by the two sides last week.


The fund added in a statement that it would still maintain an 80.6 percent stake in the Istanbul Stock Exchange.


He said that the deal indicates a total value of two billion dollars for the Istanbul Stock Exchange.
